Growing up as the son of a pastor in a small village near Edmonton, Canada, Trevor Lund never wanted to go into ministry. When school mates would tell him that he would make a good pastor, his response was "Don't wish that curse on me."

Nevertheless, God caught up with him when he was leading a small group of 12-year-olds at a youth camp during a university break. Having badly damaged his leg before the camp, he went out for healing prayer, only to be told by the preacher that he had been running from God's call.

That word turned him around. He returned to university re-invigorated in his faith, and after completing his degree went to seminary and became a pastor.

He wanted to write, but always wrestled with the process. Then one day a lady who was visiting his church told him that she had a vision of him writing, and the pages floating around the world and bringing release to people. That was enough to give him the confidence he needed to begin putting pen to paper.

With his wife Karen he is the founder of Expectancy Ministries and ImaginePublishing.

There is one God, and one mediator between God and people, the man Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5) in Whom all the fullness of the Godhead dwells in bodily form (Colossians 2:9) and Whom God the Father has exalted to the highest place, giving Him the Name which is above every name, that at the Name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (Philippians 2:9-11)
